Is Nursery the Right Choice for My Child

Is Nursery the Right Choice for My Child

Nursery is a convenient solution for many parents looking to go back to work. They offer reliability and a set schedule of where and when they can drop their children off. They are also in a nurturing environment. The friendly members of staff work with children to help them in their learning and development. If you’re thinking of enrolling your child at a nursery but aren’t yet quite sure, we have some points to consider from a nursery in London

Peace of Mind

Childcare can be stressful to arrange and there’s the added worry of how they will be for the person that you’ve left them with. Nursery practitioners are skilled at taking care of children. Their safeguarding and wellbeing are given priority so you can rest assured.

Free Childcare Support

It is also free for eligible families. Parents can get 30 hours of free childcare during term time (38 weeks) here in the UK. This is so that they have the means to be able to get back to work. You can also extend this for a longer term if you wish to use fewer than 30 hours per week, giving you access to free childcare all year round.

A Break

Being a parent is exhausting, especially when your little ones are young. It’s a full-time job in its own right and from time to time it can help having them off your hands for a little while.

Family and Friends

You may have grandparents who will be more than happy to mind your child for a few hours whilst you’re busy. It’s a good alternative if you’re unable to send your child to nursery and is something you may want to look into.

Socialising

Children can meet other children their age and begin to socialise. It can help them with their confidence and making strides in their learning and development before starting school.
